I'd like to thank Jodi for helping us plan the most beautiful wedding that
was above and beyond anything I had hoped for!
Our wedding week was at the Grand Sirenis in the Mayan Riviera in December
2011, and we had close to 40 guests join us! Planning the wedding was a
breeze - Jodi helped us choose a gorgeous resort (food, service,
cleanliness, pools, beach - you name it, it was top-notch), she organized
all of our family and friends and made sure everyone was taken care of, and
put us in touch with the resort's wedding planners who were easy to work
with, and was as simple as sending a couple emails back and forth.
I highly recommend the Grand Sirenis to anyone planning a wedding, or
travelling as a couple or with children! I would also highly recommend
Jodi as she did an amazing job for us, and I know we will be booking our
honeymoon in the near future, so she can expect another call from us!

"We had an amazing wedding and honeymoon in
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in April 2010.
At first, we were a bit nervous planning a destination wedding as we knew we would have a large group joining us. Kim at Uniglobe Direct Travel was the best help we could have had-she pretty much planned everything for us and our 41 guests! We had family and friends coming from across Canada, from Victoria to New Brunswick, and Kim did a great job co-coordinating all of our guests so that we all travelled arrived and departed together within the same time!
The resorts in Punta Cana that Kim recommended for our wedding and honeymoon were both amazing, and we will definitely go back! The wedding night was the most amazing night of the trip; the reception was moon lit on the beach with a cool breeze off the ocean…we all raised our glasses and made a toast to Kim, for being so great, getting us all together and for organizing such a wonderful trip that will be remembered always!"

Our Dream Come True
"We have just arrived home as husband & wife
from our dream come true destination wedding & magical honeymoon! My husband proposed May 15th, 2009 and the following morning he woke me up to bridal and travel magazines spread all over our bed, as well as a mimosa to “cheers” as we began planning our dream day!
The Planning Process
We scheduled a meeting with Patricia Phillips & her manager Jodi MacDonald. The planning process was simple & organized, which was exactly what we wanted. We selected our resort, sent out invitations to our guests with the information & from there, our guests RSVP’d to us and contacted Patricia to book their vacations. With our friends & family living in different locations around the world such as Kelowna, Powell River, Lund & Vancouver BC, Edmonton AB, Portland OR, Soul Korea & Laguna Beach CA, planning a destination wedding was perfect for us.
A destination wedding gives you the opportunity to spend an entire week in the sun with your friends & family, and of course offers a beautiful setting for all of your photos!

Patricia worked with us as our travel agent as well as our destination wedding planner, this service was amazing as we had one contact for questions related to travel as well as our wedding. Patricia’s dedication to ensuring our wedding day was absolutely perfect is a gift we feel lucky to have received! Patricia has a way of making you feel as though you are the only bride she is planning a wedding for, her attention to detail & bubbly personality makes planning your wedding a memorable experience in itself! Patricia loves love & becomes just as excited as your bridesmaids when you chose the perfect shade of “PINK”, she quickly became a special part of our wedding! My husband & I especially loved working with Patricia, as instead of waiting until the month prior to departure or arrival at your resort to plan with the resorts wedding planner, we were able to plan ahead allowing us to host a fabulous event for our friends & family traveling from all around the world to share in our special day!
View room at Secrets Silversands Resort & Spa. This resort is adult only & offers a more private vacation setting. The staff are friendly, but not as involved with you as they are at Dreams. We booked two full days at the spa, which was amazing! And for an extra special evening, we recommend getting dressed up to the 9‘s & making a reservation for the table in the wine cellar at the French Restaurant “Bordeaux”. We arrived home glowing with love, feeling relaxed & excited to begin our beautiful life as husband & wife!"

My fiance proposed on Christmas Day 2009. We knew that we were going to have a destination wedding on a beach. We just didn't know when or where. A friend reccommended that we call Jodi Macdonald at Uniglobe Travel. We are so happy that we called Jodi and credit her for our incredible wedding trip!
Through our meetings with Jodi we picked Mexico and Dreams Tulum for our wedding. She introduced us to the Wedding Co-ordinator at Dreams Tulum and helped us with the initial booking for our wedding day and venue. Jodi then made all the arrangements for our 33 guests who were travelling from Kelowna, Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa.
Jodi handled all of our guests with the upmost professionalism, courtesy and respect. She always finds a way to say "Yes!". No matter how big or small your request or issue is, she works tirelessly to accommodate you, and does it with a smile on her face. Jodi is the epitome of a professional and we will continue to reccommend her to all of our friends and family.
Dreams Tulum was fantastic! The resort is beautiful, the beaches are stunning, the service was 5 star the whole way. Any Bride & Groom would be thrilled to say "I do" there!
